National orchid show comes to Pmb

The show is always hugely popular and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. The theme is “Colour our nation”, and there will be local, national and international guests, as well as orchid vendors selling plants to the public.

There will be catering facilities as well, so come along and make a fun family day of it. The show opens at 9am from Friday to Sunday, closing at 8pm on Friday, 4pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Entry is only R20 per person, and includes secure parking inside the army base. Children under 12 are free.
Find the Carbineers in Geere Street, which is east off Durban Road, immediately south of the cemetery.
