They met up with their Grade 12 buddies, enjoying a pizza evening with them, worked through the various skills they need to master for High School with their teachers, and went on their first class camp over the weekend. “One of the best camps I’ve ever been to” writes Dale Sosibo, who, along with the whole class, climbed trees, went on the jackal den hike, mastered the obstacle course, enjoyed a variety of other outdoor activities and even squeezed in a visit to a dairy farm. Mishka Khan writes: “All the people were so friendly and accommodating. The food was the best camp food I have ever eaten.” We look forward to great things from our Grade 8s this year, as they start normal lessons and sport this week.
The Grade 9s and our prefects also spent the weekend participating in their respective camps, returning with new inspirations for the year ahead. Thank you to all the teachers who accompanied the various groups and ensured their safe return.
