Spring Day fundraiser

Pelham Senior Primary celebrated Spring Day, when they hosted a Civvies Day Competition in order to raise funds for past learner, Aidan Maddocks, who at the age of 10 weeks old was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare life-long and life-threatening childhood liver disease that has no known cause and no cure. Aidan is now in his teens and has just undergone a liver transplant that has been a great success. The Pelham children and families have been incredibly generous, they handed over the funds to the family that will assist with the medical bills. Pictured are the grade winners, from left: Caleb Wieners (Grade 5), Taylor Pretorius (Grade 7), Senzekesihle Khumalo (Grade 4) and Chad Schoeman (Grade 6).
